Boys varsity completes upset streak of best teams in the country

The boy’s varsity baseball team has been ranked 14 in the nation after a recent tournament sweep of some of the best teams around the country including Parkview, who was ranked number two, Buford who was ranked number seven and Guliver Prep who was ranked number 20.
“Basically when that happened, people started to recognize us and see that we were talented,” Senior Jerimiah Woody said.
Although there are not any more big tournaments left in the season, the wins at the tournament and the new ranking were huge boosts of morale and confidence for the team.
“It showed everybody how hard we have been working and how talented we are and it put us out there,” Woody said.
