The Senator spring sports season has officially kicked off

Boys varsity soccer has a record of  4-3 (4-6 counting tournament play), and are 0-1 in the area with that loss being to the Huntsville Panthers.

“We are striving to keep building team chemistry and encouraging everyone. Each player has to do their individual job to win and move on from their mistakes. It has been a fun season so far,” junior goalie Ty Caffall said.

This year is the second year for head coach, Caleb Besaw, and he is proud of his team’s progression.

“We are off to a better start than last year. The chemistry we have now is strong and will be even greater. We only have four players graduating so we will be returning a lot of talent next year as well,” Besaw said.
