Have you ever walked into a business and felt a sense of home? Imagine it is your first time walking into The Juicery, instantly the smell of crisp produce rushes into your nose. The smell draws you in slowly taking in the surroundings. To the left you see a humongous chalkboard filled with detailed drawings of all the ingredients you could find in the kitchen. In front of you is a welcoming Tribe member behind the counter waiting to introduce you to a life changing experience.

The Juicery is a locally owned and operated business, located next to Sprouts off of U.S. Highway 72. With over 20 different cold pressed juices, I was overwhelmed with the conflict of with one to try. Each bottle is infused with 100 percent fresh and raw ingredients and three to five pounds of produce. One bottle of healthy juice should replace one unhealthy meal. They use a cold press method which is a unique way of juicing that prevents oxidation and the juice more nutrient dense and healthy, while making it last significantly longer than the centrifugal juicing method. The Juicery uses a hydraulic press to slowly squeeze the fruits and vegetables which in turn immerses “three to five times more live enzymes, vitamins and minerals in each bottle they serve,” according to their website.

When I walked into The Juicery for the first time, I was so fortunate to walk in at the right moment. I ran into one of the co-owners, Jacob Birmingham, when you get him talking about The Juicery it basically becomes your whole world too. I mentioned my mom loves to juice carrots at home and he recommended the Classic Carrot juice. I purchased it and a Green Sweetie. If it is your first time at The Juicery, I would recommend both as intro into how unbelievable the juices really are.

They don’t only sell juices though. They provide Acai bowls, smoothies, salads, Patyi bowls and wellness shots. Wellness shots is a shot of a concentrated mixture of ingredients for a medicinal purpose. For example, the Flu Fighter consists of lemon ginger, and cayenne pepper. It relieves congestion and common colds.
