College football teams across the nation are putting an end to their seasons by playing in the NCAA final bowl games. Here are a few interesting games to watch over Christmas break.

College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl:

Number one Clemson has been pitted against number four Oklahoma for the semifinals. Oklahoma is the predicted underdog, but they are planning to come out with an upset. The winner of this game will go against the winner of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic for the National Championship. This game will be held Dec. 31 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic:

Number two Alabama will face number three Michigan State for the semifinals. With potential Heisman winner Derrick Henry on Alabama’s side, they are the predicted winner for this game Michigan State barely made it into this game, defeating Iowa by a touchdown. This game will also be held Dec. 31 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Birmingham Bowl:

Auburn will be playing Memphis at Legion Field Dec. 30 at noon on ESPN. This game could prove to be a challenge for Auburn, considering that Memphis upset Ole Miss earlier this season. The Memphis Tigers have overall had a better season than Auburn, but they have not had the experience with as many challenging teams as Auburn has.

Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl:

The Florida Gators will take on the Michigan Wolverines after facing a tough loss in the SEC Championship. The Gators have already surpassed everyone’s expectations, after losing their quarterback and receiving a new head coach. With the game being Jan. 1 both teams will have time to recuperate and prepare for the challenge ahead. Both teams ended on a sour note last year, and winning this bowl game would give them excitement and fervor for the off season. This game will be held in Orlando, Florida at 1 p.m.

Rose Bowl Game Presented by Northwestern Mutual:

Number five Iowa will take on number six Stanford Friday, Jan. 1 at 1 p.m. Both teams could have been competing for the national championship. Iowa was undefeated all season until taking their first loss against Michigan State in the Big 10 Championship. With running back, and potential Heisman winner Christian McCaffrey on Stanford’s side, this will make for an interesting game.
