Students no longer punished as a whole

When break was proposed at the beginning of the school year, it was made clear to students that it could just as easily be taken away.
Principal Mike Campbell is suspending break for a week in order for students to correct their behavior. He is also disappointed in how students are leaving the cafeteria.
“’I’m hoping that suspending break will reduce the problem. I don’t like penalizing everyone who is doing the right thing,” Campbell said.
Break will resume on Monday, Sept. 8. Campbell will have new procedures in place to handle disturbances.

His new procedures is penalize only those who disturb break, and if the cafeteria doesn’t get cleaned then everyone well get penalized, also if a food fight starts he will take it away from everyone.

“I don’t feel like everyone should be punished for someone else’s doing. I like the new policy because I feel like everyone [those] involved should be the only one’s getting punished,” senior Zac Fitch said.
