There are so many contributing factors that make this test stressful. The ACT determines your future and where you could be in the next few years. It determines where you could go to college and how successful you could be.

There are multiple ways to handle the stress that comes with test taking. One of the main things that could benefit a person is, focusing on the subject that you struggle with the most. If you have other subjects that come easy to you, than you do not have to spend so much time on them.

Here are 10 tips to relieve stress from taking the test:

  1. Study little by little everyday.
  2. Manage your study time.
  3. Focus on the material.
  4. Exercise.
  5. Start studying early as soon as the teacher announces the exam.
  6. Stay with a study routine.
  7. Take a break in between studying.
  8. Trust in your preparation.
  9. Get plenty of sleep the night before the test.
  10. Eat a well balanced breakfast.
