Horror is a popular genre among teenagers, and it doesn’t need to be Halloween for them to watch these movies. Horror movies are films that get the attention of any audience, so we made a list of some horror movies that might be of interest to our readers. 

1. The Conjuring 

  This movie is based on a true story that happened to the Perron family in 1971 at their farmhouse in Rhode Island. Later on, they communicated with paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren to help them deal with all the supernatural things that were happening in their home. 

     2. Insidious

Insidious is a film about a family that has just moved to their new home. Everything seems normal until they realize their house is haunted and that some paranormal things are happening. After that, a kind of “devil spirit” wants the oldest son’s body so it could cause bad things to others. They contact a group of investigators who will help the family. 

    3. It 

In Derry, Maine, a group of friends face some supernatural events when a demonic clown appears. They have to fight against this demonic clown and show him that they’re not scared of him. 

  4. Final Destination

This movie starts with a group of students who are about to board a plane because they have a field trip to Paris. When they’re about to leave, Alex Browning, the protagonist of this movie, has a vision of the plane exploding after it leaves the ground. He warns all the people on board the plane and leaves with a small group of students and a teacher. The explosion happens, and because the small group of people and Alex avoid death, now death is going after them. 

   5. Chucky 

The soul of a serial killer named Charles Lee Ray is transferred into a “Good Guy” doll, which later on is called Chucky. Andy Barclay, the protagonist of this film, received Chucky from his mom for his birthday. Chucky plans to get back to a human body, and for this to happen, he needs to reveal himself to the person he’s going to transfer to, and he wants Andy’s body. 

  6. Annabelle

Annabelle is a movie where a doll, named Annabelle, terrorizes a couple at their apartment. This doll was a gift for Mia, the protagonist, from her husband. What they didn’t know was that the doll was haunted. This is going to make some paranormal activities happen to Mia, since she stays at home while her husband is at work. 

 7. The Sixth Sense 

A young boy, Cole Sear, has a supernatural ability that makes him see ghosts. He’s a quiet and shy boy who doesn’t want anyone to know about his secret, but that changes when he meets a child psychologist, Dr. Malcolm Crowe. Dr. Malcolm would try to uncover whatever Cole is hiding, but this would lead them to something inexplicable. 

 8. A Quiet Place

A family that is located in the forest of upstate New York will have to survive against creatures that chase any kind of sound; even the quietest whisper could make the family regret their decisions. Both parents, Evelyn and Lee, would do anything to make sure their kids are safe and find a good place to live. 

 9. Scream 

Scream is a movie about Sidney Prescott and her group of friends, who seem to be terrorized by a character named Ghostface. During all the bad things that happen in this movie, Sidney discovers who took her mother’s life. 

 10. The Purge 

James Sandin and his family have to deal with 12 hours of criminal activity that makes the craziest things legal. At this time of the night, some people were trying to get inside their house, so now they have to do whatever they can to survive the night and protect each other.
