Top 10 Fall Activities

  1. Pumpkin patch
Try taking a trip to Tate Farms. They provide food, pumpkin picking and activities for the whole family. Warning it is always hot, so maybe back off from the corn bin…it may become popcorn.
  2. Haunted forest
Equivalent to a haunted house, a haunted forest can provide an adventure for you and your friends. Are you brave enough to make it through, or do you want to show off for your crush?
  3. Trick or treating
A classic, going around different neighborhoods in a costume asking for candy. But since we are getting “too old” to beg, and it rains almost every Halloween you may want to sit this year out!
  4. Costume party
Invite friends over and have a party. You can also have a best dressed competition, bob for apples, and carve pumpkins. If you are wanting to have a bigger party you could suggest going to a fall festival instead
  5. Scary movie date
Have a spread of different popcorn flavors, candy, and drinks, and then invite your friends to binge watch scary movies.
  6. Fair
Take a roadtrip to a different city or sister state, and spend a day at the fair with your family and friends. For example 6 flags, a day full of rollercoasters and funnel cake.
  7. Bonfires
Gather a few friends, grab your blankets and snacks, and spend time in front of a fire. If you are feeling fancy you could even make smores! Maybe you will burn the grass, but hey you have a nice warm snack.
  8. Corn maze
Challenge your friends to see who can get out of the maze first. If you are lucky, you will not get lost. We do not want to have to call the police… again.
  9. Make leaf arts and crafts
Get your Bob Ross on and decorate the house with your new creations. If you are lucky you will graduate from the fridge to the wall or door. You can go on pintrest and look up reefs and room scents to fill your home for the fall season.
  10. Hiking or long walks near sundown
Feeling determined to stick to your New Year’s resolution of being more active? Start taking early morning or late night walks, and enjoy the breeze. It is always cooler if you go out in the morning and afternoon.
