The football team is currently undefeated in area play with their win over Austin last Friday night, 38-21. The Crimson Crier sat down with junior Briace McBeth to get the scoop on the remainder of the season.

Describe the win over Austin.

BM: The win over Austin was a tough one but the win moved us to 3-0 in the region.

This week is a bye week. How does the team plan to use a Friday night off?

BM: We plan to focus and take a step forward everyday even though we do not play this Friday we can’t afford to be complacent.

Tell me how you feel about the first five games of the season.

BM: The first two games we were just getting our feet wet, the last three we have found our identity as a team.

With four more area games ahead, what is the team doing to prepare for the competition?

BM: We are working harder than ever before because we know these area games are going to be dogg fights so we have to be ready.

Which of the four area games will be the toughest and why?

BM: James Clemons because they have a tough team all around and they come ready to play.

The outlook is good for the team to come in at first or second in the area. What do you credit this success to?
