The boys basketball team shot the lights out on Tuesday, Jan. 31 as they took the court after celebrating their senior players and managers.

The team scored 80 points as they routed the Trojans, 80-38. Senior JP Fletcher hit an unprecedented 9 three point baskets.

“We were just own,” coach Jamie Coggins said. “It was a fun game to watch and a great win as we go into the area playoffs.”

The team also played an almost perfect game of defense, keeping the Trojans to just 4 points in the second half of the game.

“We allowed them to score 34 points in the first half and I told the guys at the half to just play some defense,” Coggins said.

The team will face Huntsville in the last game of the regular season tomorrow at 7:30 at Huntsville.
