Boys soccer work hard but fall short

The varsity boys soccer team failed to execute in the rivalry game against Bob Jones last Thursday, Feb. 18 on the Senator’s home ground.The leading scorer during the game was Brennan Bell, scoring one point off of a penalty kick, after Bob Jones fouled Bell, tieing up the game. The game continued at a deadlock until overtime. In overtime, Bob Jones scored five penalty kicks out of five, but the Senators fell short by one goal.

“Tanner Bell and Tucker Haverkamp, were the ones to me that really worked hard to secure a win, but we fell short,” sophomore Max Farlow said. “We didn’t play the best, but we will get them next time.”
