Curry: This week I have and will keep putting up more flyers and posters. I am using social media as well to gather support and put my name out there.

CC: What reasons do you think students should vote for you?

Curry: I am a natural-born leader, I strive for success and want the best for people. I am also a communicator, I know it is important to hear the needs and wants of everyone around me. I have experience and I know what I am doing because I have done it before.CC: Why do you think it is important for students to vote in the SGA election?

Curry: Just like in real life, having the freedom to vote grants a person say in the matter- the matter being who will represent them. It is important to have that decision and act on it because voting gives the power to help change a particular outcome.

Crimson Crier: Why did you choose to run for SGA Chairperson this year?

Myles Gollop: I have seen behind the scenes some issues I think would be the first things I hope to improve as SGA Chairperson. Not being on SGA in the past gives me a different perspective and I hope to implement new ideas and the best way I thought to do this was run for chairperson.

CC: What strategies do you have to promote your candidacy?

Gollop: I have devised a plan with my campaign team to put up posters and get my name out there to the students. I have also utilized social media and I expect the outcome of the election to reflect my efforts.

CC: What reasons do you think students should vote for you?

Gollop: I believe that students should vote for me because of my new and innovative ideas, especially during the pandemic I think we should have outside events. I feel we could improve pep rallies and possibly start having basketball pep rallies. Under me as your SGA chairperson, I will strive to bring unity among students and the SGA board.

CC: Why do you think it is important for students to vote in the SGA election?

Gollop: I think students should vote because it impacts them more than they could ever know. From events to representation the chairperson makes decisions that impact daily student life. It is important to know your candidates and make sure they will represent you to the best of their abilities, and I think I am the best person for the job.
