State Superintendent visits school

Newly appointed State Superintendent Michael Sentance visited the school on Friday, Oct. 28.  

CC: Why did Superintendent Sentance  visit our school?

CS: “Sentance is traveling all across the state from north, south, east and west  Alabama. Our school has the highest math scores for the Madison County school district. And our school is very diverse, so it was the choice for Madison Co.”

CC: What did Superintendent  Sentance see on his visit?

CS: “We went to the math classrooms so that we could show him the practices in our school.”

CC: What was his reaction to our school?

CS: “He liked the quality of the instruction that took place in the classrooms and the variety of different activities that we do. And he spoke to a few students. He enjoyed his visit here at school.”
