The varsity girls’ basketball team secured their place in the sub-state tournament by defeating Austin High today, 63-36.
The team’s opponent for the Feb. 26, 9 a.m. game will be announced after regional championships play out later today.
Senior Alexis Jennings was lead scorer with 29 points.
