Fantastic Beast: The Crimes Of Grindelwald Movie Review
November 29, 2018
The second installment of the Fantastic Beast series truly lived up to its name, with amazing and detailed special effects, a fast-paced storyline and complex and unique characters, this movie was even more fantastic than the first.
This sequel follows the main character, Newt Scamander, as he teams up with Albus Dumbledore to defeat the radical Grindelwald who plans to start an uprising of pureblood wizards. Several new characters were introduced to the story, Theseus Scamander, Newt’s older brother, Leta Lestrange, Theseus’s fiance and Newt’s old love interest, Albus Dumbledore, a professor at Hogwarts, one of the most wizards ever and used to be as close as brothers with the movie’s main antagonist, Grindelwald and finally Nagini, a Maledictus that befriends Credence, the orphan boy who hosted the Obscurus that attacked New York City in the first movie. These new characters joined the ensemble cast that made the first movie so spectacular, such as Jacob Kowalski, the lovable muggle that was thrown into the wizarding world, Tina, the demoted Auror and main love interest for Newt and Queenie, the pretty and vivacious sister of Tina that falls in love with Jacob. Together these characters and original story create an exciting and fresh movie that the whole family will enjoy.
