Summer fitness tips

It is that time of year again—all of a sudden it is 80 degrees, the pool is uncovered and the swim wear is being pulled out of the bottom of your closet.
And you do not like the way you look.

Here are some simple ways to slim down—or bulk up if you are a guy—and look hot in the pool.

Cardio:

Go for a run: Do interval running for 30 minutes. Look up the workout in Google or Pinterest and hit the treadmill.

Strength:

Weights: Go to Walmart and invest $20 in some weights and incorporate some curls or some squats into your daily routine. Make sure to go do your run too.

Eating:

If it is processed, toss it out. Cookies, chips, string cheese, crackers, toss them all out. Stock up on greens and learn to love your fruits.
